Command definition...

This word, as it is used in browser is like when you tell your dog to do something, like heel. When the dog heard the command "Heel" he would come stand by your leg. He did this because he was trained by you to obey the voice command when spoken by you.

In this browser a command is given by you pressing either a single key or a series of keys on the keyboard. These keys are called Hot Key combinations. If a single key is used, it is usually what is called a Function key.

Just now, when you pressed the Alt Key on your keyboard..+ the letter key S..you gave a command to browser to speak the currently loaded web page. Neat, huh?

When the software reaches the end of the page, it stops speaking. If you want it to stop speaking before it reaches the end of the page, you would use another Hot Key combination..by pressing the Alt Key on your keyboard..+ the letter key Q..you have now given a command to the software to stop speaking the currently loaded web page.

Ok, if you didn't understand what I just said, you can have the browser read this page again by pressing the Alt Key on your keyboard..+ the letter key S..

If you think you got it...press the Alt Key on your keyboard..+ the letter key B..this is the command to the software to go back to the main help page or press the F6 key to use the Browser map to select a link to navigate to.

Navigate the browser back to the Operation User's Guide.

Navigate the browser back to the main help menu.
